We endeavour to form a relationship with each of our clients in order to provide flexible solutions to each new proposal, whether it is top hung folding Moveable walls and partitions, privacy and acoustic control, aesthetic and bespoke detailing, specialty folding doors, or a variety of other supply, installation and export only/supply only schemes within the budgetary and time frame required.

Case Study 1: The West Lancashire Investment Centre The West Lancashire Investment Centre is a result of a long, successful working partnership with leading local architects Cassidy and Ashton. We subsequently formed a relationship with the client working direct on a number of schemes to provide a a flexible conference facility where bespoke detail, acoustic control and aesthetics were key elements.

The product selected in this instance was the Niche Type 200, hinged, folding partition system. The criteria for flexibility and ease of use, minimal structural load bearing implications, good acoustic control (Rw 45dB specified) and provision of an aesthetically pleasing appearance to the panels (ie matching perfectly with the conference furniture) was requested and achieved.

We continue to enjoy a valued relationship with the client and are regularly asked to provide solutions to their new proposals including bespoke detailing.

Case Study 2: Telford Golf & Country Club Q Hotels At Telford Golf Hotel and Country Club the client's requirement was for a bespoke, high specification and up market movable wall system with an emphasis on flexibility of space with excellent acoustic properties. The panel finish was required to blend with the interior decor whilst also being a unique feature.

Our Type 100M was selected to meet this criteria.(these criteria or this criterion) Initially this £7.5M refurbishment didn't lend itself well to a top hung system with no existing provision for supporting this product type. We worked closely with the main contractor and structural engineers and used our extensive experience to advise and assist our colleagues with the correct design which allowed a safe but easily navigable, individual panel, system. A central column was created to form a hub from which 4 individual movable panel systems could meet thus creating 1,2,3 or 4 rooms at any one time. The panels for each wall system were designed to stack away remotely from the main track line and be hidden when not in use. The panels, almost 4M high, were finished in neutral colour laminate, with associate visual break-point to match the room interior.

Case Study 3: Bridge Club - Ansdell Institute Nr Lytham The client wanted to combine privacy with the flexibility of an "open feel" and the need to make the most of borrowed light in the basement area. We selected our Type 80 top hung movable wall system (no floor track) with integral blind units for privacy control and good light passage, a neutral panel finish which also blended in with the interior decor.

A hinged pass door panel was incorporated into the system to allow maximum flexibility with passage through the wall once the panels are closed off. Case Study 4: Niche Overseas – Reebok As well as servicing the UK market for well over a decade, Niche have been undertaking varied and challenging overseas project work.

The schemes include a recent fast track refurbishment scheme for Decathlon (Reebok) in Lile, France, completed February 08 in which the client wanted a quick and easy acoustic room subdivision with an added flexibility being to fully utilise the panel surface area to allow merchandising to be mounted to our panel fascias for client demonstration purposes.

We achieved this by applying sheet-steel to the panel finish and successfully completed to a tight schedule. Other overseas work has included a large project for the Arab Bank of Doha, Qatar completed May 2001 and a variety of other supply & installation and export only/supply only schemes.
